It never ceases to amaze me how people will abuse the openness of a friend, treat them as a disposable item passed over when something better comes along.

Open-handed people are vulnerable to abuse but it’s these very people that make the world go around. I am naturally openhanded to people and circumstances but I have also learned guard my heart along the way.

Open handed ness is a vulnerablility borrowed from God who came the earth vulnerable as a baby, and abused as a man. And yet there is a strength in life that passes centuries and has has reached one third of the population of the earth.
